The Month Code Wheel was developed to furnish molders with a simple way to track production runs. The wheel can be easily mounted in any casting. The arrow pegs are interchangeable and come both with and without the year. The date wheel can be flush mounted to mold the figures .010 to .015 raised on the plastic part, or use a recessed mounting to mold the figures below the surface. The date may be changed by simply loosening the locking nut, turning the arrow peg to the desired position and retightening the nut. When installing in steel molds, a steel shim spacer should be added.
